Pemanfaatan Video Animasi Untuk Meningkatan Pengetahuan Gizi Seimbang Siswa Sekolah Sepak Bola (SSB) Gagak Rimang Badas
Abstract
Nutrients are very necessary to help the growth and development of children. School age is a period of very fast growth, so quality intake is needed. Children's knowledge in choosing the type of food consumed needs to be maximized so that they can choose foods that can support their growth. One of the references in choosing the right food is the Balanced Nutrition Guide (PGS). PGS is a reference that can be used by all family members to choose the daily food menu according to the body's needs, as well as to behave in a clean and healthy life. Various efforts to increase knowledge about balanced nutrition in children have been carried out. Efforts to increase knowledge are carried out in various ways and in different media. The selection of the right media will greatly determine the increase in children's knowledge. Nowadays animated films are very popular with school-age children. Seeing the huge potential in this animated film, it can be used to increase the knowledge of school children about balanced nutrition. Community service carried out at the Gagak Rimang Football School (SSB) by lecturers and students aims to increase students' knowledge about balanced nutrition. With increasing knowledge, it is expected that there will be changes in behavior in choosing and consuming foods that are in accordance with their activities. The subjects of this community service are SSB Gagak Rimang students aged between 12 to 15 years as many as 14 students. To evaluate whether education with animated video media is able to increase students' knowledge, knowledge measurement is carried out before and after watching animated videos, with a questionnaire consisting of 20 question items. The measurement of knowledge after watching an animated film was carried out 30 minutes after the screening of the film. The animated balanced nutrition film is the work of a student at the Nutrition Academy (AKZI) Karya Husada Kediri. The average score of the results of measuring students' knowledge before watching an animated film is 56.79. While the average score of knowledge after watching animated videos is 80.36. The use of animated films can increase students' knowledge scores by 23.57. Balanced nutrition education using animated video media is an innovation to deepen the absorption of material, because it involves students' emotions and is in accordance with their developmental period. The effectiveness of animated films that is quite large can be a reference in conducting education, especially for the millennial generation.
