Peningkatan Pengetahuan WUS tentang Keluarga Berencana sebagai Upaya Penekanan Jumlah Kehamilan Pada Masa Pandemi COVID-19
Abstract
The case of COVID-19 is a case of a world pandemic that has had a tremendous impact, especially on health services, one of which is family planning services. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a decline in the number of participants in the family planning program in Indonesia. This has the potential to increase the pregnancy rate during the pandemic which poses a risk to the health of the mother and fetus. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge to fertility women about family planning programs including types of family planning, methods, advantages, disadvantages and other benefits. This community service method is in the form of counseling by providing materials related to family planning and the importance of family planning during the covid-19 pandemic. The target in this activity is 20-35 years old women of childbearing age who did not do family planning during the pandemic as many as 20 people. The activity will be held on 26-28 October 2021 in Putat Hamlet, Manyaran Village, Kediri Regency. The activity was carried out through 3 stages, namely the pre-test stage, providing counseling and post-test. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in fertility women’s knowledge about family planning to become well informed. It is hoped that this community service activity can provide a change in attitude for fertility women to participate in participating in the family planning program during the pandemic. So that it can prevent risky pregnancies during the Covid-19 pandemic and reduce maternal pregnancy rates during the Covid-19 pandemic
