Pendampingan Ibu Hamil Risiko Tinggi Melalui Konseling Di Masa Pandemi COVID-19
Abstract
High risk pregnancy is a pregnancy that will cause greater danger and complications for both the mother and the fetus in the womb and can cause discomfort, pain, death and disability. The existence of a pandemic and the problems experienced by high-risk pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic can be risk factors that affect the occurrence of increased discomfort in high-risk pregnant women due to the mother's lack of knowledge about the condition of her pregnancy. So there is a need for community service activities in the form of mentoring activities for high-risk pregnant women through counseling during the COVID-19 pandemic. Assistance was provided to 17 high-risk pregnant women in the Pare, Adan-Adan and Gurah Health Centers through counseling using the WhatsApp application. The implementation time of the activities in March-May 2021 which consists of the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The results of the mentoring showed that after being given counseling there was an increase in good knowledge by 71% compared to before counseling and there was a decrease in moderate discomfort by 71% to mild by 82%. Assistance to high-risk pregnant women through counseling can increase knowledge and can reduce discomfort in high-risk pregnant women so as to minimize the occurrence of complications in pregnancy.
