EDUKASI DETEKSI DINI DAN MANAJEMEN STRES PADA REMAJA DI MASA PANDEMI COVID 19

Abstract


Corona virus disease 2019 is an infectious disease that has become a world health crisis because it spreads very quickly, causing a high mortality rate. The COVID-19 pandemic is a mental health problem due to the loss of a loved one. Mental health disorders that can be experienced are anxiety, depression and stress. This condition can be experienced by adolescent who have lost their parents or loved ones. The purpose of community service is to improve the ability of early detection and stress management in adolescents during the pandemic. This activity was carried out virtually with the educational target of 20 members of PIK-R (Youth Information and Counseling Center) students. Mapping of materials and activities delivered is education about the concept of stress and the risk of suicide, education about early detection of stress, education and training on stress management. The media used are PPT, video, google form, smart phone. The results of the implementation of post-test student activities and show the results of understanding the material well. It is hoped that PIK-R members can apply the ability to detect early stress to their peers in the school environment so that they can improve mental health and be able to adapt to changes that occur during the pandemic
