Data analysis using Wilcoxon statistical test. Most of the elderly experienced moderate pained on a scale of 4-6 before being given intervention. while after given the intervention most of the elderly experienced mild pain on a scale of 1-3. The test results show the p value = 0.034 < 0.05, meaning that there was an effect of giving ginger and its intensity on the pain of patients with Arthritis of Gout. This is because ginger contains gingerols which have pain-relieving or pain-relieving properties. while the content of lemongrass is an essential oil which has chemical and pharmacological properties, namely a spicy and warm taste as an anti-article and is indicated for relieving joint muscle pained.
