Abstract


Presidential Decree Number 12 of 2020 concerning the Determination of Non-Natural Disaster for the spread of Covid-19 as a National Disaster, requires a handling mechanism, one of which is the implementation of the Large-Scale Social Restriction (PSBB) policy and adapting new habits to prevent the transmission of Covid-19. This condition causes a massive impact in almost all aspects of life, one of which is in terms of public health services (Kemenkes RI, 2020). The condition obstructs access to childbirth services as well as anxiety in patients to the birthing process. It will lead to various problems, including the health of the mother and child. Therefore, efforts need to be done, so childbirth services continue to run well by paying attention to the protocol for the prevention and control of Covid-19. The solution offered to this problem is to provide online counselling related to safe and comfortable childbirth during the adaptation period for new habits. Counselling is expected could reduce patient anxiety in facing childbirth. By adhering to current health protocols, patients can deliver a safe, comfortable and in the right place. The online counselling activity is intended to increase the comfort of mothers in giving birth in the new adaptation period. Then it can increase maternal knowledge about health protocols in mothers who give birth at this time.
