SKRINING DAN EDUKASI PENANGANAN SINDROM NOMOPHOBIA PADA REMAJA

Abstract


Many adolescences  have nomophobia. Nomophobia is a disease in which a person is dependent on a mobile phone, so that it can cause excessive worry if the mobile phone is not nearby. Efforts that can be done now are to prevent and reduce the use of mobile phones or gadgets. One strategy is to educate and disseminate information related to prevention and proper mobile use. The purpose of this service activity is for early detection, education and socialization of the prevention and handling of nomophobia in adolescents. The method of implementing this activity is carried out by screening and educating adolescents. Community service activities are carried out in 2 activities, namely: nomophobic syndrome screening, education and empowerment of adolescents in handling nomophobic syndrome. The result of service activities is that most of the 85.7% adolescents are in the moderate nomophobic syndrome category, 85% of adolescents understand about the meaning, causes, signs and symptoms, positive and negative impacts of nomophobic syndrome and formed a cadre of teenagers who can provide education to their friends about nomophobia.
