HEALTH EDUCATION TENTANG BAHAYA COVID-19 DAN POTENSI GAGAL NAFAS AKIBAT COVID-19 SERTA PENCEGAHANNYA PADA SISWA SMA

Abstract

Covid-19 is an acute respiratory disease caused by a virus that has spread to become a pandemic until now. This disease was first discovered in Wuhan China and then spread throughout the world. This disease has caused the death of millions of people in the world. In Indonesia, the number of new cases increases to more than 5000 cases every day, and the number of deaths due to this disease has reached thousands of people. Symptoms of this disease include coughing, high fever, shortness of breath, and can lead to respiratory failure leading to death. This disease can affect anyone, both young and old. The younger generation needs to get education or health education about the dangers of Covid-19 and its prevention so that the spread of this disease does not spread. This health education is aimed at SMA 1 Pule, Trenggalek through video conference media and leaflets because the pandemic conditions did not allow face-to-face counseling. The purpose of this activity is so that high school students who receive health education can understand the symptoms of Covid-19, the potential for respiratory failure, modes of transmission, and prevention of Covid-19 transmission.
