STRATEGI EDUKASI MANAJEMEN PREVENTIF COVID19 BERBASIS SELF EMPOWERMENT PADA REMAJA

Abstract


Covid 19, which is currently endemic in several countries, has made the pandemic situation an easy and fast spreading process. Efforts that can be done now are by breaking the chain of transmission through preventive action. Covid 19 preventive management education has an important role in breaking the chain of transmission of this disease. One of the educational strategies that can be applied is to empower adolescents in disseminating information related to COVID 19 preventive management through socialization at the family level. The purpose of this service activity is to empower adolescents in the transfer of information related to COVID 19 preventive management through the implementation of health protocols at the family level. The method of implementing this activity is done virtually. This is related to conditions that can be done in the era of social & physical distancing, so teenagers are the right target because the age group that is familiar with virtual media use is teenagers. Service activities are carried out in 5 activities, namely: covid 19 education, education on the role of adolescents in prevention, education on health protocols in the new normal era, training on hand hygiene & wearing masks, and empowering adolescents in transfer of health protocol information to their respective families. The result of this service activity is the formation of teenagers who can become health cadres in an effort to prevent Covid 19 for their respective families
