KESIAPSEDIAAN BIDAN DALAM MEMBERIKAN PELAYANAN KEBIDANAN SELAMA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 (STUDI FENOMENOLOGI PADA BIDAN DI JAWA TIMUR)
Abstract
The world condition is currently being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. Almost all countries in the world have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Indonesia is one of the countries affected by the covid-19 pandemic. The impact felt by the community due to Covid-19 is physical health problems, health, social health, psychological disorders. Health personnel also have the greatest impact, including midwives. Midwives are at the forefront of providing maternal and child health services so that midwives need to have excellent readiness, both mentally, as well as the SOP for preventing Covid-19. This study aims to examine in depth the readiness of midwives in providing midwifery services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research design used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, data collection by interview and observation. 21 number of participants. The research site is where midwives provide midwifery services in the East Java region, which is the red zone area affected by Covid-19. During September-November 2020. Most of the participants (12 participants) were happy to provide midwifery services because it was the duty of maternal and child health midwives, 6 participants closed midwife practice services at home, because they were very afraid of the risk of being exposed to the Covid-19 virus, and Some of the participants who work in hospitals or health centers stated that this is an obligation as Civil Servants so that they still have to provide services who feel anxious and unwilling to go to work. Adapting to providing midwifery services during the Covid-19 pandemic is not an easy task. It takes mental readiness, supporting tools, and rejecting and implementing SOPs properly. This has a good impact on excellent midwifery service. Several participants were ready to provide excellent midwifery services during the Covid-19 pandemic mentally, with tools and SOP.
