Pendidikan Kesehatan Pertolongan Pertama Pada Kecelakaan Terhadap Keterampilan Pelajar Ekstra Kurikuler PMR SMPN 2 Pare
Abstract
Health education about First Aid in Accidents is very important today for the general public, especially PMR Extracurricular Students at SMPN 2 Pare. Health education is an effort or activity to assist targets (individuals, groups, and communities) in increasing knowledge, attitudes, and target abilities to achieve optimal health (Notoatmodjo, 2014).
First Aid Measures in Accidents carried out correctly and correctly will reduce disability or suffering for the victim, and can even save the victim's life from death. However, if the action of First Aid in an Accident is done incorrectly, it will worsen the condition of the victim or even kill the victim's life.
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the provision of health education about first aid in accidents to the extracurricular skills of PMR students at SMPN 2 Pare. This study used an analytical research method with a cross sectional design. Data collection was carried out by the results of the Spearman Rank correlation test, it was known that there was a relationship between the provision of health education about first aid in accidents and the extracurricular skills of PMR students at SMPN 2 Pare (p = 0.000). There is a willingness and activeness in receiving material and practical learning so that respondents are able to practice what has been given by the researcher. There is motivation and experience from respondents in practicing First Aid in Accidents
