Dukungan Kader dan Motivasi Ibu Dengan Kunjungan Balita ke Posyandu di Era New Normal

Abstract

Under-five is one of the targets of the integrated service postal activities, so that attendance under-five is expected. Cadre support and mother motivation are factors that can affect under-five visits to integrated service post, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the support of cadres and mother motivation with under-five visits to integrated service post in the new normal era of Gilang Village, Ngunut District, Tulungagung Regency. The design of this research was analytic observational with cross sectional approach. The independent variables are cadre support and mother motivation, the dependent variable is a under-five visit to an integrated service post in the new normal era of Gilang Village. Sampling by proportional random sampling of 75 respondents from a total population of 299 respondents. Data collection used a questionnaire on August 6-15, 2020. The statistical test used the chi-square test. The results showed that of 51 respondents (68%) attended bringing under-five to the integrated service post, most of the 45 respondents (60%) received support from cadres and a small proportion of 6 respondents (8%) did not receive support from cadres. And of the 51 respondents (68%) who attended bringing under-five to the integrated service post, most of the 46 respondents (61.3%) had high motivation and a small proportion of 5 respondents (6.7%) had moderate motivation. The results of the analysis obtained p value = 0.00 <0.05, which means that there is a relationship between cadre support and mother motivation with a visit under-five to an integrated service post in the new normal era, Gilang Village, Ngunut District, Tulungagung Regency. Cadres and health workers can take advantage of communication networks such as whattsapp groups for mothers under-five of age to conduct socialization, education and information regarding under-five of health services during the pandemic, so as to provide a sense of security and motivation to attend integrated service post.
